The PPS or Pusat Pengajian Siswazah (formerly known as Unit Pengajian Siswazah or UPSis) of Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) was established on April 1997 with aim of strengthening the UiTM's postgraduate programmes. In establishing a reputation as a leading research and academic institution, UiTM has also earned a reputation as one of Malaysia's most innovative and entrepreneurial universities through links with business industries. This means that postgraduate students will be surrounded by cutting edge innovations, a rich research culture as well as inspirational lecturers and supervisors.

As the nerve centre of graduate-level education in this university, (UiTM Cawangan Terengganu) PPS helps the students to manage in the terms of the student's admission and registration. Besides of these management assistance, PPS also provides our students with the opportunity to get some review on their research proposal in order to give them some advice based on their research. During this 'pre-registration' process, students will be able to experiences the real-like environment when they are about to give an presentation on their research at Institute of Graduate Studies (IPSis) Shah Alam and by the same time, they will be able to identify any mistakes regarding their research.
